STEPS
1. [ ] Switch lights and ignition off and let the lamp cool. Confirm the original 5 W lamp and lens design.

2. [ ] Push the lens to the left and pull the lens with its attached socket outward, as shown on printed page 379.

3. [ ] Squeeze the tabs at both sides of the socket to separate the lamp assembly.

4. [ ] Remove the old bulb and insert the matching new 5 W bulb. Reassemble the socket and lens so the retention tabs engage.

5. [ ] Turn the lights on for a stationary function check, then switch them off. If the lens is insecure or the lamp remains dark, seek inspection.
