What the official report says
Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2025 IONIQ 5 electric vehicles. Certain rear suspension alignment adjustment bolts may have been improperly tightened, which can cause a loss of vehicle stability control.
Why the reported issue matters
A loss of vehicle stability control increases the risk of a crash.
Prepare your observation
Keep existing observations and service records. Leave lifting, fastener work and suspension inspections to the appropriate service provider.
A reported defect describes the campaign. It does not establish what caused a symptom on your individual vehicle, and absence of a symptom does not establish that an open recall is complete.
The reported manufacturer remedy
Dealers will replace the adjustment bolts, align the wheels, and replace tires if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 10, 2025. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 284. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on September 13, 2025.
Confirm current remedy arrangements
The source does not explicitly establish current remedy availability. Ask the manufacturer about the applicable remedy, required parts or software, appointment arrangements and any interim instructions.
This describes the dated source record. Current arrangements for your VIN remain unconfirmed.
