Keep the affected wheel, dated readings, inflation and warning history together for a tire inspection.

Before you start

A flat, visibly damaged or repeatedly very low tire needs service assistance. Do not wait for another reading or reset the warning to dismiss it. Changed tire sizes or uncertain equipment need professional assessment.

  1. Keep comparable conditions

    For routine US placard readings, the manual defines cold as parked for at least three hours. Keep warm readings separate and copy the actual vehicle label; do not guess a pressure target.

  2. Record what happened between readings

    Name the wheel and both dates. Include inflation, warning recurrence and recent tire work. Leave an unavailable reading blank instead of recreating it or delaying service.

  3. Ask for an inspection, not another reset

    Mazda directs owners to have a tire inspected if it frequently needs inflation. A pressure record supports that conversation; it does not diagnose the leak or certify the tire for driving.
